Halftone Paintings / Rasterbilder:

The motifs in this series emerge from an intuitive selection process in which digitally sourced templates, shaped by data loss, are converted into halftones—a technique known from offset printing, where shades of gray arise from varying densities of black dots. With meticulous precision, I transfer these patterns onto canvas, pixel by pixel, using Indian ink. Seen up close, the image breaks down into countless fragments; from a distance, it reassembles in the viewer’s eye. Errors and deviations are deliberately left in place, challenging the idea of digital perfection.
