39 Future Memories

I investigate three paths “from here to” that simultaneously reflect on destined events, missing parts, unfolding futures, probabilistic fates, imminent failures, and miscellaneous unknowns, while shuffling random chance encounters with a single event: 400 N. Lake Shore Drive: The unbuilt Chicago Spire, designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. A doomed path. The second path narrates my walk to the Spire pit, following directions from Google maps. The third path envisions my future as predicted by a clairvoyant.
